This is the name of the latest book authored by Mark Batterson. I got this book about a week ago and was going to wait to begin reading it as I was trying to finish a couple of other books I had started.
Being a Pastor doesn't exempt me from days of struggle, stress and uncertainty. Well, today was one such day. I was just feeling sorta bummed out today. No specific reason really, just cumulative things I guess. Anyway, I told my wife I was heading back up to the office to just do some reading. I decided I would begin "In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day". I'm sure glad I did....it really helped me get a better perspective. I cried a bit and laughed a bit but by the time I had finished the first 3 chapters, I was feeling much better. It's amazing how a good book can help to re-frame your thoughts. I thank God for Spirit-Led writers who have a true gift of re-framing!

I went straight from Church to old faithful B&N but they let me down! I went ahead and ordered the book and they are going to ship it directly to me :) hehe...I'm going to get something in the mail that isn't a bill!!! I'll let you know what I think.
Well I was hoping they would have had it in stock but yeah....at least it isn't a bill! I really hope you enjoy this book, it's really great reading...
